Coming back for its second season, the Trytons Rugby Club, a specialised rugby program for children with special needs, will be run by Sydney Juniors with the assistance of the Australian Rugby Union and NSW Rugby.
The program is suitable for children of all abilities between the ages of 5 – 17 years. The children will be grouped according to their ability and will participate in skill-based activities aimed at improving their individual skills, coordination, fitness and team work. The children will be professional coached by people with an understanding of the limitations that children with special needs have.
The program will run on the weekends during Term 2 and Term 3 in 2015 at the following locations:
MAROUBRA – Nagle Park, Walsh Ave – 11am SATURDAY
EAST KILLARA – Koola Park, Koola Rd– 9am SUNDAY
The cost of the program is $90 (inc GST) which includes professional coaching, uniform (shorts, jersey & socks), insurance and a gift pack, or $40 for returning players with no uniform requirements.
